ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

ok what should i do. i got a bee r rev limiter kit and what it does is take unburnt gas and blow it throught the tail pipe. i mostly got it for the 2 step but any ways in order to get that flame effect you need a striaght pipe because it will mess up my oem cat. i can care less about that flame crap. but is there anything i can do to get around this???我愛我的本田

im not a ricer but i do want to have it on my car and use it at times and i dont mean pulling up to random people and start reving thats not meOriginally posted by deevergote. View PostPut the cat back on. When you go to the track, put the straight pipe on and use your Bee-R.
Or are you going to be that ricer at stoplights revving at everyone and shooting flames? That's a REALLY easy way to lose your car.我愛我的本田

Noo
ahaha i made a straight pipe. its loud. which isnt cool. i was stupid.. many of tickets regarding my exhaust...
in the long run, i dont think there was any gain, it was loud shot fire, and was intimidating. but thats about it....
then again, i welded it my self and made the dump under the passenger seat,
makes a nasty car shudder from the resonance.
my opinion. if its loud your after. do it.

A cat doesn't necessarily kill all the sound. My first exhaust was custom made, straight back to a fart can. 2.25". Yea, it was obnoxiously loud, but the silencer in the muffler helped a lot. Now, I went back to the shop to get a catalytic and my stock muffler put on. The guy put the cat on and said "start it up, see if you like it". With just the catalytic installed at the moment, still had the fart can on. It was just as loud, but more high pitch. Once he put the muffler on, it sounded bone stock. No exhaust sound whatsoever. Pissed me off, actually.
So, I chopped my muffler off. Gave it to a tuner on here to pass inspection, and got a raptor muffler installed. Best sounding by far. I'm sure that ws2 muffler itself will kill a lot of sound, so if you were to take the cat off and install a straight pipe, it wouldn't be obnoxiously loud. Probably wouldn't really be loud at all. Would most likely only be loud if you threw an Ebay fart can on it.
I mean, cat's are there for a reason, to help emissions and all. About half the cars around here, I have no idea how they pass emissions. The smoke, burning oil, etc. Car doesn't burn oil with the new engine, but it does run a little rich. I have a header, test-pipe, Ebay cat-back, and it doesn't sound too bad. The silencer is in a lot of the time, and the neighbors say it sounds real good, with the silencer out. (they're like, 60 years old. If it was loud, they'd complain). I'm sure a test-pipe isn't as loud as a flat out straight pipe. My exhaust now is nowhere near as loud as it was when it was straight back.
