Ebay catback exhaust system

Im not being a smartass thank you very much.
I dont understand the logic of everyone buying a set of pipes for 150, when you can usually get it all done yourslelf for that price, and have better sound, and way better bends. All those bends in that exhaust system have creases in it. If you were to look at a SPOON system, or even the RS-R catback systems, they dont have those creases in it. It creates restriction. Your not going to get the "performance" you would out of that, as opposed to a RS-R, WS2, or a Spoon setup. Its loud, and extremly abnoxious when people in their cheaped out imports fly by at 100 MPH, thinkin its cool to gun it. By no means did i mean to offend you, i just dont think its a proper sound. You would get more performance and alot less negative looks if the proper system was on there.

By the way, in most states and provinces of Canada, you need to have a baffeled system, it cannot be straight pipe. If you get caught, your going to fail an emmisions test, as well as probably a DB test. At least another resonator should be put up in there, or event he stock Cat contverter would do (Stock cat converter has a 2.25 in and out, so it WILL match the ports on your header, and your ebay system.)

So, now that i got all that laid out, before you tell someone to fuck off, you should really do some research, and expect the handfull of flames to be put up here when you cheap out on parts such as this.

I don't have a single crease in my exhaust system. I bought mine from eBay last year, I'll post pics up when I get off work.


Yes, having eBay exhaust automatically makes us "abnoxious". Because I love driving 100mph everywhere I go. Why would you assume everyone with an eBay exhaust speeds? I rarely go 5mph over the speed limit at any given time. I've never gotten a speeding ticket, and I've never had an exhaust worth more than $200 on any car I've owned. So, yes... I guess that makes me a ricer.

My catback came with a resonator and I still have my stock cat. I've passed emissions twice with this exhaust with ease. First time I had it done, the tester said it was the cleanest running car he's seen in a while, and he was surprised that I had 240K+ miles.

Ebay exhaust are great, only think that I didn't like about mine, it was too loud and with silencer looks stupid and that 1" inch out will effect performance.
So I got oval OBX muffler with magnaflow 3" tip and now I love how it looks and sound!!!

Actually the worst you can have is a custom exhaust that is crush bent, as the crushes reduce tube diameter and increase restriction.

Well,before buying my catback off ebay i remember looking all over for video's of them on cb's and could never find any..so to help all you people looking out i made one earlier
