    wagon brake upgrade for myself

I am in need of upgrading my brakes, so from my understanding as stock the wagon came with the HOR style and I am wanting a ROH style brake for the front? If so then, where could i get the 99"cl hub other than looking for a junkyard victim? Or am I not seeing the right thing here?

I know that I want to keep the wagon calipers, brackets... is there anything else to keep from the wagon?

Also to do the rear conversion, would any cb7 that came with a f22a6 do since they have the rear disc or do I need another type of car to get the items from?

Another thing, if i don't rock the rear conversion and stick with drums, how stupid does it look if you have a decent rim?
    TIA

Anyone? I have read the thread that goes on about what setup is the best for the coupe or the sedan but that goes to say that parts are taken from the wagon in some cases.
Nothing or I missed it was really talked about the best setup for the wagon.
I know I am noobish when it comes to these things but I am trying to learn as best as I can from you guys. I also looked over the Haynes manual and it just describes the process of removal and replacement. Any info is welcomed!!
    Thanks

what year is your accord again?

for a while i've been trying to get the rear disc brakes off of a 91 SE any time i see them at the PnP. one time it was nearly mine but then it started to pour down really hard.

im not to positive on the front wagon brakes for ROH. But for the rear disc conversion you can take any 91-93 rear disc and replace the drums with it. Along with the e-brake cables. Its a direct swap nothing complicated.

Use Prelude VTEC front rotors for wagon ROH.

If you wanted the bigger brakes with the ROH conversion check out TAS's kits.

Its.$599.95 for new bearings and hubs(already pressed), rotors, calipers, caliper brackets, and brake pads. It may seem a little pricey until you start looking at individual parts prices.

Yeah I'd say a bit pricey.... So your saying that going to a junkyard wouldn't be cheaper, for a reason or two?
Parts may not be in that great of shape, so new parts are need on top of what you have already bought?
I could end up getting the wrong parts to start with?
And the the time to go and get the parts, plus the time to take off the old and on with the new? Being that time is money these days......

Also I am wanting to weight out the idea if I was to go and get the prelude parts, would i need the whole assembly from the front end braking setup? What about the rear? Will it work also on our cars? I know that the f22a6 series do, but does the prelude factor into that usage also?

Prelude 93-98 or any other years that I need to know about? (also vtec'd right)

                TIA

What about this setup? Its a little cheaper and I thought that the wagon came with the larger 11.1" disc to start with? Or am i thinking wrong?

If anyone could give me a idea about what I had mention above I'd be tickled!
I am thinking about going to the junkyard morrow before class and see what they have. If I find a prelude I 'll see what there is left of it.
                    Thanks guys!!!

I believe the parts list for a junk yard big brake ROH upgrade is

98-99 Acura CL wheel bearings and hubs
                      Prelude VTEC Rotors
Accord wagon calipers and caliper brackets.
                      Accord wagon brake pads

The TAS kit you linked should work if you had wagon calipers and caliper brackets. Call them and ask just to make sure.

It looks OK if the drums are rust free and painted black... Not all that great though...
