ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Welcome, and the F22,H22 etc.. are engine codes. As far as how far you go on a tank of gas depends a lot on your driving habbits and of course other things like fuel filter, dirty injectors, car may need a tune up as well.

F22 is an engine code. Your's is an F-series, and a 2.2liter sized engine. The H22 is an H-series motor and 2.2liter also.

      Try changing your spark plugs.

Wikipedia also has tons of information on the different engines. If your car has 265XXX miles on it, it could have a little lower compression than it should have. Basically the seals inside of your engine, which hold back the combustion mixture of fuel and air, are leaking a little more than what they should be. You need 3 things for your Accord to run. Fuel, Spark, and compression. Your below expected fuel mileage could be related to any or all three.
Been a long time. Still alive...

          He said kilometers

          265,000 kilometers = 164,663.366 miles

You might also want to fill your gas tank up and pour a can of seafoam in it.

the H22 is more powerful than the F22 but you can modify an F22 to put out alot of power too.

welcome to the site, search around the stickys and you will find answers to alot of your questions.

and a quick question, any XA or XB Falcons for sale around your way?

Do this before you change the plugs. Once you use the tank and refill, then replace your spark plugs. People have this issue, and say seafoam sucks, because they put new plugs in, then seafoam, and it does a number on the plugs. This is when doing it through the intake though. I'd still do the same after running it through the tank.

They have them at walmarts now. Austrailia have walmarts? Should.

this is going to sound really dumb, but how much will the spark plugs cost and how do i change them?

change oil, make sure tires are inflated, new tranny fluid, keep the revs as low as possible, dont use the AC, etc. They're all first steps. After that, seafoam could help but I've never used it, after THAT go for intake, headers, exhaust. Get ram air, not cold air if you want to save fuel.

Also, before someone else says it. Try using the search feature. There have been TONS of topics covered including the seafoam process.
