ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

it cleans out all the carbon and junk in your engine. I did it to my F22 at 160K miles and it improved mileage on the hwy a bit, like 2-3 mpg. A LOT of white smoke came out.

Do it. It's worth it. I did it on my Integra awhile ago. It shot out a lot of smoke. Just make sure you follow instructions from experienced people carefully, otherwise you could flood your motor.

Have somebody rev it up a little to like 2-3k rpms. And slowly suck in some seafoam from a vacuum hose. Don't drown the hose in the stuff, just put the hose near the seafoam and it will suck it in. I poured the seafoam out into a small bowl to make it easier and just refilled the bowl every little bit. EDIT- Oh, it's normal for the motor to down-rev when it sucks the stuff in, that's why you want to rev it up a little.

You take off a vacuum hose and use the hose to suck in the Seafoam. You also put a little bit in your gas tank to clean your fuel system and a little in your crankcase. When I used Seafoam, I took a empty 20 ounce soda bottle and put some Seafoam in that. Then I took a funnel and connected a vacuum hose to the bottom, poked a hole in the 20 ounce bottle with the Seafoam in it and placed that inside the funnel so the Seafoam dripped out one drop at a time. It worked pretty good but you don't have to do it like that. Just use the vacuum line to suck up the liquid.

                              i like it

so i finally get my car started after a 3 day ordeal, and i decided to seafoam the shit. initially the car sat all winter and the oil turned to sludge and the car wouldnt crank from lack of oil pressure. so i drain all the oil out and it was like molasses. then dumped in motor flush break up the sludge and it all finally all drained out after sitting overnight. the i put in fresh mobil one oil and fresh oil filter. it still wouldnt crank so i decided to burp it by unscrewing the oil filter and cranking the motor. the oil started coming out and then i retighened it. then after i figuered i crossed the ignition wires it started. i was like that you god! i let it run for fifteen minutes and then went to the store and put in seafoam in the oil, gas, and intake. it smoked like a bitch. it looked like i had a smoke machine in my trunk. it ran much smoother after the smoke stopped.

overall i must say im impressed.

                              goodluck xfactor
