ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    ecu code ???

well today i started my car up and with in a minute i had a cel so i checked it out after i got back from the store and it was 6,7,10,12,14,21, and 24 in other words it was coolant temp, tps, intake air temp, egr, iacv, vtec sol, and vtec presure switch. i checked my grounds and they are all good and tight. i guess my question is has anyone else ever seen behavior like this before and if so what was the problem. as of right now i think my ecu is shot so i might be going crome sooner than planned and has anyone used the .bin off of xenocron of the f22b1 base map and tested it to see if it is okay or needs to be worked with( i understand it is a basemap but is it equal to stock or just a round of about guess on where to start) well any help will be great.
    deev don't flame the vtec

    F22B1 sucks!

Usually, if the ECU is shot, you're going to get a solid CEL. It shouldn't flash any codes if it's shot.

I would check all your plugs, especially the one going into the ECU. I know it can be difficult unplugging the ECU, and if you or someone else has pulled on the wires to remove the plug, some may have pulled loose.

It certainly sounds like there's a messed up connection somewhere... there's no way ALL those things can be wrong! (well, it's possible, but not as likely as something else scewed up!)

    I assume you're running a P0A, correct?

Yeah, that's the problem with electrical issues... when it's something screwy like this, it's tough to figure it out!

You might just want to get a new harness... it might prove to be easier to just replace the entire harness than trying to find where this one is screwing up.

Oh yeah, a tuck can cause any number of problems... if you pulled one wire the wrong way, you could've loosened any number of things!

If you don't need your car right now, and it's just a project... try this.

Pull your harness. Rewire the ENTIRE THING to match the length of your extended tucked wires. It'll take a ton of time, but I think you'll be the first one on here with a full non-spliced tucked harness

i tucked it about a half a year ago lol
but i found the problem it turns out i spurng a leak on my window shied and it is running down my to my ecu so i am calling the glass man on monday and hopefully after this ecu dries out it will be okay if not i have a p28 ready for crome and a p30 with a s200 (just wanted to wait till boost till i put them in and got tuned but oh well)

but this is just my toy car my dd is a 2000 ford ranger, my wife has a 2001 saturn sl2, we both also drive a 2004 saturn ion(soon to be for sale) and i also have a i/h/e/ 92 hatch also. so one day it will get the full blow tuck see as how i do low voltage wiring on ems control systems on gov. buildings across tn but it will take time and a week off of work to do that isn't really a project you can start and stop then pick up the next weekend. but one day she will see it.

on a side note i am glad it was a leak and not the wiring lol
