As I stated before my car was burning a bit of oil, so i took it for an emissions test and it didnt pass, so i did a check & there was oil leaking to the anti-freeze, (the car has 330K on it) so i replaced the engine & now the sport light blinks sometimes when i turn on my car... when I turn off the car and turn it back on, sometimes the sports light wont even show up... and after I go over 80km, my check engine light turns on. Now I dont know if this makes a difference or not, but the engine that my car came with is an f22a1 & the one i put in was an f22a. Do I have to change the ECU & the TCU??

did you use your same transmission? on mine, i swapped motors and trannies and the tranny i put in came from a car without sports shift, and the light blinked, and the second time was because i forgot to plug in the sensor on the back of my tranny! hopefully you get somethin that easy to fixRandom Customs

I bought the car from a friend who recently just put the engine into the car; and a month later he crashed it. I have a 90 Accord EX and the car I took the engine out of was an 91 EXR. I swapped the engine w/ the transmission & I know that on that car, the sport light & the check engine wasnt showing... thats why im unsure if i need to change the ECU & TCU from the 91 EXR to my 90 EX.Comment

So, I was checking the codes & I jumped the wires on the blue connector, wasnt getting a reading, so i pulled apart the carpet and checked the ECU/TCU & I saw it had two little windows with a blinking red light and im unsure if thats another way to check the codes??
If so, then on the ECU, theres a long blink & two short. & on the TCU there are just two short blinks.Comment

Yes the lights that are blinking on the computers are a way of reading the codes stored in them. Reference them to a manual or search on here for codes theres quite a few lists of them posted around here.
