ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Aftermarket exhaust from Honda dealer.

I recently found out that my dad replaced the exhaust on my CB9 when he had it. The old one had some rust holes that couldn't be fixed. He got a new exhaust, whole exhaust from engine to back from a Honda dealer. But it's aftermarket and my dad doesn't remember what brand and type it is.

Would anyone know what a brand of type of exhaust a Honda dealer would install on a CB9?
    Current:
    2007 Acura TL Type-S 6MT KBP

    Past:
    1992 Honda Accord EX-R Sedan - RIP
    1991 Honda Accord EX-R Wagon - RIP 10/14/2010

it might be aftermarket but it is probably built to the same specs as the stock exhaust.
honda wouldnt put a performance exhaust on unless supplied by your father.

lots of aftermarket companies make stock replacement parts.
its hard to say what brand it is unless there is some type of stamp or label on the pipes somewhere.
but since its probably stock it really doesnt matter.

    Bought from: Bisimoto, FuncOvrForm, HondaGuy1212, wed3k, Konigstiger, 1st2run, BillKisme, k-mart, benjerman112

Yeah I was thinking there must be some type of sticker/stamp on it but I have no way of getting to see it because I have no way of looking under the car.

A lot of dealerships get their parts from regular parts stores as well... It's not entirely unlikely that they went to Autozone and ordered a replacement exhaust system.

wouldnt be surprised if they took the car to an exhaust shop and had some crush bent piping put on.

Dang really? That sucks, especially if my dad payed for a new one.
