ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Car I bought has some funny engine parts/ECU

OK So I bought a black 91 accord with no history.

    Specs:
Engine swap from owner (F22A6), previous engine was bad, no idea what the previous engine was
    PT3 ECU
    H22/23 exhaust manifold
    F22 auto trans.
    F22 intake manifold

It seems to me that there might of been a H22 in there before with the F22 trans. I just don't quite understand the PT3 ECU.

Will running with the PT3 ECU on a A6 hurt performance? I have read somewhere that the PT3 was for manual trans, this could explain why my TCU keeps frying a resistor even though the shift solenoid tests 13 OHM?
Just general weirdness. The car also has some ultra rare Nitto rims, they don't even make rims...

Can't really answer your question, but post some pics of the "nitto rims".

There are PT3 and PT6 ECUs for both manual and automatics. So the PT3 is not just for manual cars. Not having a PT6 will hurt your performance quite a bit if the F22A6 was swapped in properly and the IABs are hooked up via the black box.

The TCU is frying because the Honda TCUs are pieces of shit. Simple as that. I'm on my third TCU and I cannot find any reason as to why they fry other than age.
There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

Those wheels would look 100x better if they had graphite spokes (clear coated, of course) and a polished lip.

Got the car 6 days ago :P i can't seem to find one of the center caps and calls to nitto dealers get me nowhere.

                "I'm lookin for nitto centers"
"nitto tires don't have center caps"
                "for my nitto rims"
                "wtf, nitto doesn't make rims"
