ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

I know when I bought mine they asked me if I had ABS or not. Also Im looking online and there are some for The LX and DX and some for EX and SE.

    I believe they are different.

They are differerent, and also its recommended you go OEM on those, some of the aftermarket ones are prone to failing.

EX m/c is diff, the rear fitting is M12 (ABS fitting found on ABS equipped vehicles), while the front fitting is your typical M10 fitting, this was to prevent confusion, since it's impossible to install that on the wrong car. Stick w/ an EX m/c or you could upgrade to a Prelude VTEC m/c I'm pretty sure w/ retaining your orig. booster. OEM would be best too but not entirely necessary.

Is there a way to test the master??

The pedal goes to the floor with fluid in the rez and no known leaks...I'm going to try bleeding the system tonight....

IS there a special way to bleed a ABS System????

It's werd somtimes the petal will get hard and feel normal but the next time you hit it...strait to the floor...WTF

Also the ABS light is on...

I have to head out right now but that is the drawback to an ABS system, properly (according to the helm's manual) bleeding it involves the dealer w/ special equipment. But most bleed the system like a CB w/o ABS w/o any real issues.

Have you tested the booster? W/ the engine off, pump the brake pedal afew times, does the pedal get higher and higher w/ more pressure until it sorta feels like you can't press it down anymore? Then hold your foot on the pedal, apply some pressure, start the engine, does the pedal go back done some? If so, then that's a good thing.

Proper bleeding sequence for a non-ABS CB is DR, PF, PR, DF from the Helm's manual. I can't remember if the helm's gave a specific seq. for the ABS equipped models, but you could follow that ^.
