Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Need Catback Exhaust.

    What is the cheapest way to attain one? My exhaust rotted out and i feel like a ricer now.

    OEM? Junkyard.
    Aftermarket? eBay or 100+ other online retailers.

      Not into Ebay. But i was checking some websites out. Id rather get the plain stock exhaust. I dont want anything loud.

        Apexi WS2 will give you stock-ish sound with larger diameter piping.

        But, check out some local JYs if you want stock exhaust. I'm sure you can buy one for under $50.

          TASauto is pretty good as well. When you say Cheap, what are you looking at?

            If if install it myself do i have to have all 4 wheels off the ground? or can i have the front end only up?

              When I did mine, I just lifted the rear and bolted it up. PB blaster is your friend on this too. I think I went through 1&1/2 cans.
              3 CB's gone....
              1 WK Overland....

              Still miss the CB though......maybe one day.

                By cheap i mean w.e. the best price is. i don't wanna spend $350+ on some pipes and a cat.

                      Get custom one unless you want to spend 400 bucks on a decent catback system.

                        The cheapest way is to go to your local muffler shop and ask them to weld you up a custom exhaust. Pretty much the only thing you need to buy is a nice resonator and muffler (both can be had for 30 bucks or so on ebay) and let them do the work. Just call around, you should be able to find a shop to do it for around a hundred bucks or so.

                          This is what i did, 600 total but worth it. they fixed the rattling heatshield also. Very well job done. Car X did it.

                            i spent less than 600 bucks for a megan racing header, catco direct fit cat and the WS2 although i had to install it myself which wasn't hard at all.

                            $415 - WS2
                            $90 - Cat
                            $60 - Megan header

                            the deals are out there, you just gotta look.
