ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
As a member of this community, you are expected to know and follow the rules. READ THEM HERE!

If you have a dremmel with a cut off wheel, you can slot the top of the heads of the screws that hold it into place, and then turn them out with a flat head. If you do not have a dremmel, you can take a pair of dykes (flush side cutters) and get under the little washer under the screw and bend it up a little. Then take a pair of good pliars or vice grips and fold the washers up by squeezing the top of the head of the screw and twist them out. Once you get the initial break free, you should be able to turn the screws out by hand. If all else fails, you can take a flat head screwdriver and a hammer to break off your old tps around the bolt holes, and go from there. I'd try the dremmel method first, if not an option then take out the side cutters or vice grips and try that. If that fails, break that bish off.

Remember to take a volt meter to your new tps and calibrate it to .45~.5v KOEF (Key on, engine off) at closed. It should be 4.5v wot (wide open throttle). Take your volt meter and you have to pierce the wires going to the tps and measure the voltage. Measure between ground. You should have one wire that is 5v, one that is 0v and one that is .1-1v. You need to measure between the ground and the .1 to 1v wire to calibrate correctly. If you do not do this, you will get some funky shit going down (I love beer)

Harsh how? For thanking him for actually knowing something? Everyone else says "naw dude you gotsta buy a nu throtel bodie cuz itz rivetted on dere"

You can also use a hacksaw blade to notch the screws (they aren't rivets, just headless screws)
