ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

93 Ex, you have the f22a6. The 93 Lx wagons have the f22a1.

why not just look at the engine block next to the timing plug if its not dirty enough you can see it there best to confirm.

heres a little breakdown on Engines so this OP is clear on what he has.

              90-91 DX ( F22A1 )
              90-91 LX ( F22A1 )
              90-91 EX ( F22A4 )
              91 SE ( F22A6 )

              92-93 DX ( F22A1 )
              92-93 LX ( F22A1 )
              92-93 EX ( F22A6 )
              93 SE ( F22A6 )

              now..so you dont get confused.

              90-91 ( INTERNAL COIL )
              92-93 ( EXTERNAL COIL )

both the F22A1 and F22A6 has cast manifolds although..the F22A1 stock has a 4-1 exhaust design. The F22A4 has the better ( tubular ) exhaust manifold." better flow" between the 3 version.

              F22A1 ( 4-1 exhaust setup )
              F22A4 ( 4-2-1 exhaust setup )
              F22A6 ( 4-2-1 exhaust setup )

              ^ now..even though...the A4 and A6 has both 4-2-1 setups..the A6 has a more restrictive exhaust manifold.

if you take a A4 exhaust manifold and Downpipe and put it on a A6..and put a H23 upper intake plenum onto the lower half othe A6 intake manifold.

you will get around 140-150HP just from doing that (*** includes CAI ..highflow cat ..and Catback exhaust. )

              ( I/H/E )

thats a nice power adder from using OEM honda parts

              more detail:

              F22A1 ( economy ) PT3
              F22A4 ( different exhaust setup...but same as the A1 ) PT3
              F22A6 ( wilder camshaft..different intake manifold ...dual intake runners " IAB" ) PT6..controls the IABs " intake butterflies "

NOTE: ^^ if you have a LX or DX..you can use the 1992-1996 Prelude S P12 ECU for a 10HP gain.

*** REPEAT: take the A4 header and DP and put it on the A6 to gain a little bit more HP out of the A6..around 5hp.

              A1 ( 125hp )
              A4 ( 130hp )
              A6 ( 135-140hp )

NOTE: braking systems... ALL 90-91s came with rear drums. 92-93 DX and LXs came with Drums..92-93 EX and 93 SEs came with rear discs.

all 92-93s came with Driver side Airbags. 92-93 EXs and SEs..came with Anti-lock brakes.

so..92-93 EX and SEs..are top of the line of the entire CB line.

I dunno if I'm forgetting any more detail..but its so the OP knows whats under his hood.
92 LX. A6 with GUDE bullfrog Cam. M2S4 transmission..Gutted H23 intake mani. The rest you will just have to find out!
