ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

You remove the center consol and There should be a plug there that has a bulb in it. Come to think of it though neither my 90 or 92 has a light there though. I take it you just got the car and it does not have lights there and your thinkin they are burnt out huh? I'm almost 99% positive they don't have lights there."Cause hooking vtec to a switch is stupid. Why not hook vtec up to a clapper and just slap your self in the face everytime you race."

I've had no problems with that light, and he is right about the console thing... but not the light. there is supposed to be one there... at least there is one on my 91 ex. all you have to do is remove the cover(AKA console) and then replace the light bulb! maybe a 10 minute job tops, if you have the bulb handy.

there is a bulb that lights it up
remove center console and theres a black wire going to the shifter plate and the bulb is at the end of that just grab it and give it a twist and it'll come outLast edited by vietkid_2006; 07-20-2009, 01:32 PM.

Weird there is nothing on my 90 dx or my 92 lx(parts car) to even plug in one. Maybe I just got 2 cars that never came from the factory with it. Or it burnt out long ago and some one just hid the wires. Unless ex's were the only ones to come with it. I'm being 100% serious."Cause hooking vtec to a switch is stupid. you could just unscrew the shift knob off. and then unbolt the shift plate indicator and under that you can see what's connected to it.Originally posted by 4gen5thtime View PostWeird there is nothing on my 90 dx or my 92 lx(parts car) to even plug in one. the bulb should be located around the....D3 or D4.. it's connected in there by a plastic housing and all you need to do is twist it to take it out.

No seriously its not there. The wiring is like non existant. I know for a fact my lx parts car was never cut or hacked up it was owned by a old lady 1st owner then my girlfriends cousin whos a girl and the 2nd owner then to me. My dx I'm not sure about but the lx I'm not sure why its not there. I'm wondering whats going on, the hole for the bulb is there but no wiring or socket that goes there."Cause hooking vtec to a switch is stupid. Why not hook vtec up to a clapper and just slap your self in the face everytime you race."
