ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    H22A start trouble:(

Hi, first of all i want to apolegize for my bad english! I am from norway you see Here is my problem: I swapped an JDM H22A with LSD manual tranny, the swap went fine but now when it has been sitting waiting for paint something has went bad, it`s hard to start! I can try 4-5 times before it starts, on the first try it dosent even fire, one the next try it may fire a little, and when it starts it sounds like it getting to much fuel when i hit the gas a little, its drowning! But when the car has been running a bit and i stop it, it starts at first try!! ...Have changed the main relay, no CEL codes, reset the ECU, checked vaakum on engine (20 in hg) I know the EGR valve has been leeking if that can have something to do with it? Anyone???

Is your gas cap tight? I'd bet that for whatever reason, your fuel system isn't pressurizing, and so when it sits the gas is allowed to flow back to the tank, and when you go to start it there isn't gas right there. Next time it happens, try turning the key to 'on', wait 3 seconds for the fuel pump to run, and then turn the key off, and then repeat that cycle a few times to prime the system.

Check for leaks around the fuel filter in the engine bay, the fuel rail, injectors, etc. and check the gas cap.

Yes, i think u could be right! I did notice some gas dripping from the gas tank, and i think it is a small leak at the fuel rail too...Did try prime it like you said but dosen`t make much diffrent...
