ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

can i run this ecu on my lx 93 accord. i found a chip for it.

What do you mean by "found a chip for it"?

The P08 came from the Civic VX. I'm assuming it's quite similar to the P06 that is commonly used, so I'm sure you'd be able to use it.

However, your post makes me think that you discovered a "P08 Chip" somewhere... and that is a BAD idea. If you use any ECU other than the one that is made for your car, you need to have it tuned especially for your particular engine, or it won't do anything good. It may even damage your engine.

do you have to change the harnes on the cb to fit the po6

        No.

But honestly, if you need to ask such questions, you don't need to be changing your ECU. There's a LOT more involved than slapping in a new computer.

It would be pointless to get it, you'd be better off getting a P12 from a lude.

Chipped PO6, P28, or P13. The first two will require tuning and the P13 is just your stock ECU for the H.

The P06 would need to be converted to a P28 to run an H22 properly. The P06 is not a VTEC ECU. It can be done, but it requires more work.

Yeah sorry forgot to mention that, the P28 or P12 is your best bet. But depending on what you are going to do and set up is just stay with the stock P13. I don't know to much about whats what with ECU's, if your serious about it then you can check out crzy tune in the member shops.

Get it. You can add Vtec and other options to a P06

The P12 is no good for the H22. The P12 is ONLY good for the F22A1.
