ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

No,they look like the adjust has never even been down that far.

Also for the rears, the adjust is hitting the cup of the struts. Can't i just pop the adjuster out of the cup, adjust them lower, and just sit the adjuster back in the cup?

try calling up GC and see if they have replacement sleeves. I wouldn't mess w/ those threads if they're already effed up. If those fail, then your shock will slam down. So I wouldn't risk it if I were in that situation.

Mine gets stuck from time to time as well, what I did was bought some stuff called PB blaster it works wonders trust me, WD-40 don't work. Just let the PB blaster sit for a few minutes then try to adjust. It casn be found at any autoparts store or Wal-Mart

                    PB Blaster is amazing stuff.

And this is another reason why I don't like adjustable stuff.

yes indeed it is. take it to a junk yard and if your careful, no scraped or bruised knuckles. lol.

but do you have the wrenches that goes with the sleeves? normally if those 2 adjusters are put together tightly, your not gonna be able to turn them by hand.

They should always be tight. You should NEVER be able to do it by hand.

have you tried to loosen up the set screw for the height adjuster?? there is a allen head set screw in the height adjuster that needs to be loosened before the adjuster ring can be turned.

Yup! This is what I can was going to say.

If not there is a GC "wrench" that you can use to adjust. Personally I'd put a rag over a screw drive and wiggle the screw driver into one of the grooves and try to tap it loose.

Make sure that the perch is loosened as mentioned above though!
