Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    CEL 6 ECT, wire color reveiw>?

    Ok I just got done swapping the H22 in my cb7. All is good except 1 cel. Its a killer, #6. I have checked the wiring and replaced the 2 wire sensor directly under the disty..

    She still lit and shes killing my happy happy fun-time..

    This is how my sensors are wired up using the original harnass (un-taped and reassembled "longer")
    wht/grn and black wire on front water neck sensor next to header
    Red 1 wire push on under disty and next too...
    Blue and Black wire on under disty 2 wire sensor..
    yellow/grn and green/ white wires on sensor next to thermostat.

    I have swapped all sensors back and forth from yee old f22 and even thrown a new sensore (the 1 under the disty) in the mix... to no avail.. also I have reset ECU after each change.

    Any ideas.. Im getting desperate.

    I had 2 sets of wires mixed, This is the Difinitive pin-out for the coolant sensors using the f22 harnass and color codes.

    wht/grn and black wire on front water neck sensor next to header (low temp Fan sensor switch)

    Red 1 wire push on under disty (instrument temp gauge)

    Blue and Black wire on sensor next to thermostat (high temp fan sensor switch)

    yellow/green and green/white wires on under disty 2 wire sensor.. (to PGMFI computer)

    I was using a Haynes and it didnt have a call-out for what and where each sensor went to... D-loaded the nicer version and it had awesome callouts and helped out tremendously..

      wow i think this thread may save me i just put h22 in my cb and i think i messed up my wiring for those 3 since i just added wire instead of untapping the harness.

      ima try/ check these tomarrow if it clears my cel code 6 im a have to paypal u at least 5 bux.
