ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Anyone have MOOG coil springs?

Does anyone have MOOG coil springs on their car? Looking at putting those and KYB gr-2 struts on the front of my 93 lx. Feedback?

Yes they will be fine. Putting on brand new OEM springs will raise your car up quite a bit. It will take some time for it to settle back down.

why don't you get H&R OE sport spring. They about 0.75" drop.

I dont know quality of MOOG but H&R will last you

Moog is like uber OEM. My entire front end pretty much is all moog.

if u want a mild drop go with the eibach prokits. they drop like 1.3. gets rid of that 4x4 look

I have it on the accord, i want to say a 3 finger gap. Not bouncy or anything smooth and sporty when you want it.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

                  Retro!

So I went with the Skunk 2 lowering springs. We'll see how they work out. they were also a lot cheaper ($174) than the eibach ones ($233). Saw some pics and the cars dont seem slammed which is good because i dont want mine that low.

You are going to be scraping with skunk2 springs. I know from experience. The bottom of my mudflaps are torn to shreds.

F Mudflaps. They are gonna be gone when i switch over to F&F T2s. hahaha. I should have invested my money in the F&Fs in the first place. Would had put it as low as i want. Just like this guy... Slammed4thgen

as for the mudflaps. don't forget what you said "i'll just let em keep scraping until enough material is gone and they don't scrape anymore" i thought it was a good plan.
