ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

no mods. p14 ecu needed or p06 chipped.

knock sensor wiring, unless your chipped and can remove the option.
It is a 100 dollar sensor if it is not on the block. totally up to you.

besides that hmmm. tranny bolts up. and everything else works.
Depends if it is OBDI or OBDII that you might need to adjust Dizzy internal/external or convert harness.

hmm thats pretty much it I can think of!

-knock sensor needs to wire up to ECU Pin D3.
-if you have LX or DX the IAB connects to ECU Pin A17 (Connect Black/Yellow wire on solenoid to switched ignition, the other to pin A17)
-as far as OBDI and OBDII then that involves the H23 VTEC. so if your running 92-95(I think) it is OBDI. everything should work fine. just things to check.

good luck man, you will get good info on this site!

h22 is harder...if you can get your hands on it, DO IT!
but h23 is pretty much a direct swap!

The only difference with the H22 swap is wiring for VTEC. 3 more wires than the H23.

ALL H and F swaps are easy on these cars. If any one of them is too difficult, then they're all going to be too difficult.

IAB = Intake Air Bypass. It's a secondary set of runners that opens up at higher RPM. If you have an F22A6 (EX or SE) you already have it.

my biggest turn on to the h23 is the price and availablity of the motor.

ok so what will i need with my h23 to put it in..

i heard ecu/exhaust/intake?? these right and any other stuff?

header and intake match the h23. as long as it is NOT the H23 VTEC!

If you wanna run an h23 with f22a1/4/6 header go for it!
If you wanna run the h23 with F22a1/4/6 intake manifold, make sure it is respective to your wiring. aka the a6 has IAB hookup which was ECU Pin A17 I mentioned before!
