Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    exhaust question

    ok well i recently had a leak on my pipe it was old stock piping...
    soo i just decided to take off the whole cat and all the way down.....

    but it has a nasty awful raspy sound....

    it never did that,,,,,i dont like it at all i dont wanna be shooting out rice...
    is there a way to prevent it from doing the raspy sound>

          yea there we go...cause i just umm got it straight down to the exhaust.....

          but i hate that raspy sounds !

              that wouldnt help at all get the raspy noise away...

              is there a WAy i can remove that noisE?

                so u have no cat. basicly cut the cat and made straight pip or no exhaust just header?

                    If you're running nothing but the header............buy an exhaust lol. You'll have to bolt something onto the header to make it sound better. I have to be reading this wrong or something.

                      Ok so forget my last post lol. You explained it better. You'll have to add a resonator to it.

                        u used a pip to connect the down pip to the other half of the exhaust.if so just put a resinater instead of the aluminum pip it will still be loud but it wont be as raspy.it will deepin the tone a little.

                          well this is what i did....where the downpipe ends....its new piping from there all the way down to the exhaust and thats it......

                          should i put a resonator somewhere b4 the exhaust?
                          and would if rob any power of it?

                            u mean from the down pip to the muffler?add 2 resinaters 1 were the cat was and 1 right befor the s bend to the muffler.and no no power robbing at all. our cars run off back presser the resinater will give u back presser and tone the exhaust/get rid of the raspy
