ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    chipped ecu blues

hey guys. i have been running a chipped p06 for a while now. only recently in the morning it has been colder than cold. in these mornings my engine will either not turn over or wont stay running more than 2 seconds. i try and try until my battery is on its last strokes until i always have to resort to putting my stock ecu back in. it starts right up everytime.

in the afternoon when it warms up outside i put the chipped ecu back in and it starts no problem. granted i do have a code for my eld, but i dont feel that could be the problem.

    any advice?
    Andy.

if it wont start with the chipped ecu but starts immediately with the old one i would have to say the problem lies with the ecu

What sort of tune are you running? Is it tuned for your car, or a generic tune that you got from someone?

closest map I could find to a stock f22 map.

Got it from D112crzy. So I figure the tune if fine...but maybe the cold ass weather required moe fuel for start up which it is not getting?

        I'm not too sure.

I'm guessing the cold start up issue has to do with the ECU calibrations/tune. Not an uncommon problem.

Look in the ECU tuning section and PM one of the more knowledgeable tuners. If you have the equipment, they can lead you or you'll need them to tweak and resend a calibration for you.

Deev makes a point, in that if this tune was actually done at a local dyno, all this would have been taken care of and done correctly for our environment. Should you be running this chipped ECU, if it is not tailored to your mods (if any)...which is what you're indicating?

              Post your bin

It may be bennificial to post your bin file. You can do that on here, but there are only a few people on this site that actively tune. I would suggest posting this on pgmfi.org
