ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Though, if your ecu will try to throw evap codes if it can do an evap test. What year is your car?

Lets see...
Do you want cruise control?
Do you have an after market intake?
Do you mind having a CEL on all the time?
Do you care about emissions?
If you say no, yes, no, no, then you can remove all the lines EXCEPT for the lines that run to the valve cover, the line to the brake booster, the line that goes to the MAP sensor, and the line to the fuel pressure regulator.
You will be eliminating the EGR, Cruise, Evap controls/ charcoal canister, the thing in the stock intake tube near the front of the car, auto mount adjuster (automatic only), the air boost valve, and I think thats it for the A4.
Really, it isn't worth disconnecting everything as your CEL will stay on all the time. The only ones I have capped are the intake thingy and the cruise.
Remember though that any line you remove needs to have the vacuum nipple capped. You can find black caps for cheap in the vacuum "T" section at autozone.
Other odds and ends would be the air boost valve, fast idle thermo valve (only if you live in a place thats +50*F year around), and the EGR solenoid. You will have to find or make your own block off plates though.Last edited by EJX_Michael; 12-19-2009, 03:54 AM.

But he doesnt have to worry about it since his ecu doesnt have the ability to test the evap emissions system.

Next, even if it could diagnosis or detect the absense/malfunction of the emissions system, which it wont be able to.... It would only set a light when it tests the system. Most daily driven cars, driven 10 miles one way to work and back, dont even meet all the specified testing parameters to even begin to test the system. So IF it could test the system, which his car wont be able to, the light would stay off most of the times except for long trips.

Cool!

As soon as Frootloops gets everything going he's going to be making blockoff plates for the F and H motors. He can make them however you want as far as having recessed screws and I believe he's going to be doing some anodizing in the near future also if you'd like them a different color. They're a steal at the price he's selling them for.
