Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    No start?

    Ok well i thought my fuel pump was bad but even with the new fuel pump i have an intermittent no start issue... when the car doesnt start i do not hear the pump run...

    So im thing main relay or ignition switch??
    any help?

    main rely mi cuz use to be able to make his start by hitting the dash board under the steering wheel or the main rely it self

      My pump will turn on if i turn the key on/off repeatedly once i hear the pump it runs just fine

      It only happens once in a blue moon

          Not hard to replace the ignition, my brother in-law did it, and he's not mechanicly inclined at all. But If its just your fuel pump that doesnt turn on, then i dont think it'd be your ignition. could very well be a relay.
          Depending on what actual relay it is, I might have one, i always leave the j/u with a bunch of little shit like that. I'll figure out which one it is and let you know if I have it.

            Ok well id be game to try that first but i know my ignition is messed up aswell because when you open the door and take the keys out the car still beeps at you until you close the door

                mine does not beep unless the key is in or the lights are on i think it`s the key switch

                  I swear I remember mine doing it, but I just went out and played with it, doesnt do it. My bad.
                  But I still thinking that if its only the the fuel pump that doesnt come on how can it be the ignition switch? Ignition switch doesnt control the fuel pump on a separate circut then then rest of the electronics does it?

                    you can check for power too the pump by the plug behind the back seat it`s the yellow wire it goes in at the sender cover

                      well i have a spare main relay that i know is good so i will throw that in there as well... The problem is that it just happens when it wants to...

                      The ignition i think ill have to replace just as an annoyance factor( 230 bucks sucks though)
