ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

car still bogging down ( real bad)

I have a 93 Honda Accord SE (auto)with 217K. Here's what I been replaced and checked. Fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plugs wire, fuel injectors, fuel injector resistors, cap and rotor for the dizzy. Clean out the throttle body, Did check timing. And its looks good. Changed 02 Sensor too. It's OEM Denso. Cost me almot 95 buck from the local Honda stealership. Gas mileage is terrible, and it's kept bogging down. First it's show code 43 for a while even I changed swap with the new 02. Now it's won't show any code, but it still bogging down. One more thing my fuel gauge on dash did not work at all. I have to use the trip odometer and when it's around 200-250. I have to stop and fill up my gas tank. The gauge is only shows it's full mark. I did take out the fuel sending unit, take a look, and put it back. Did not have time to test it yet. Think about getting it from the junkyard this weekend. Any body have the problem like this before? I tried almost everything, seaform and such. Car is start and idling fine, just bogging down randomly when I drive. Any else do I need to check?

Bump. Anyone? I did also clean out the IACV, did check the main relay, air filter is still good. Did check the fuel pressure, and I can hear the fuel pump prime when I put the key in the ignition. Also I did check the spark, by pulling the sparkplug wires once at a time. I run out the idea now. Can some one help me out? Thank you.

Timing belt was changed a year ago. I wonder the same thing a about the cat, too since it's a aftermarket cat. But it did pass AZ emission test 2 year ago, though.

You mean the main relay? I did swap with the good working one, but it's still bogging down. I don't think the main relay, though cause the car is still start even the weather is hot, or cold. It's just bogging down randomly when I start driving it. Anyone else?

Honestly, if that's a consideration then I would drop it out and give it a looksie. Although it could be a vac leak because this happened on one of my EG's, and you said you changed the plugs, so I think them being fouled is probably not likely.

              life is good.

When are you going down to the Valley? I heard on TV it had a nasty storm last night up there. I was thinking swap the cat with the CRX cat I used to have, but when I went to the muffer shops they said they can not do it like that because the EPA bullcraps. I need to go some where and get a hold of the welder and start rig the old one out, and put my stock Honda CRX back in

I just take a look at the receipt. It's almost 140 with tax . I also did check the fuel pressure, and changed the fuel pressure regulator. And its's still good.

sounds like a lack of fuel to me... perhaps MAP sensor?

could it be the EGR valve?

Since the o2 sensor has been changed with a proper one, this would be my next guess.
