ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    2 screws on rear rotor...

i cant remove the 2 screws holding the rotor... i tried everything, hitin it with a hammer and turning it with a screwdriver at the same time, tried heating up the screw, nd i tried wd40.. nothing worked

    any advice

drill out the head of it, so you can get the rotor off. then use vice grips to remove the stud that remains... if your new rotors didnt come with new screws, put in an order ASAP for a few new ones from the dealership so youll have them in time for the reinstall.

You don't really need those screws. The torque from the lugnuts should hold the rotor to the hub just fine.

i wouldn't have used heat, try dry ice... it shrinks the metal allowing for space to turn. trust me it works. either way... good luck.

do what g-man said, then buy yourself the screws later.

they sell a impact driver set just for those screws. the set is not expensive at all just buy that and take it off. useing a hammer and a screwdriver wont work you have to have a impact driver set to do it right.

the lugnuts might hold it on good but i have seen lug nuts get lose and if that happens it wont be good i would put the screws back in dont do your brake system half ass.

Thoes screws just hold the rotor on the car when its at the factory so they dont fall off... You dont need them really the wheel holds the rotor on not the little cheap screws.

Lol, I used an air hammer to turn my screws out. They were extremely rusted on.
