Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Speedo??

    My speedometer isnt working and im getting a VSS CEL so i replaced the speed sensor piece and it didnt help.

    The speedometer sometimes works up to like 30mph then to 0

    The speedometer sometimes like wiggles below 10mph


    Any help>?

        Thats a good site with lots of help.... Thanks man...

        Any1 have any suggestions as to what to test next except testing the brand new VSS... could the cluster be bad??

          Do you have power steering? When i took my power steering pump off the speedo died. i put it back on and it works perfect.

                did you replace it corectly? fuse? GL thats a doozy. wish i was more help man.

                    idk for sure. just throwing ideas. maybe someone will read and say oh! lol
                    im sure their is. i mean a fuse wouldnt sometimes work either tho. hmm??? bad cluster? and does the car act different at all?

                        I replaced the VSS already.. I also disconnected the battery when i did my HIDS which would reset the ECU..

                        It has gonna to the point of never working... Sometimes flutters around 5-10 for a second and back to 0

                          If the CEL is permanently gone then your cluster MAY be pushing up the daisies.

                            No the CEL comes on after a bit of driving then goes off for a while once i turn off the car...

                              you could try this ..there 3 screws holding the spedo in you could tighten them ...it gets the elect through them
