ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Loose Clutch

My clutch feels really loose. Any way ya'll have tightened this up? Change fluid, adjustments, etc.? I recently had my clutch replaced. It was just a standard replacement. If I'd known about performance clutches, I probably would've installed something else, but that's past and I don't intend to take the engine out and replace it again at this point. So any suggestions any of you have will be appreciated. Feels like pushing a nail through soft butter when depressing the clutch. I'd rather have it feel like butter thats been out the fridge for about 10-15 minutes. But maybe this is the way a standard clutch on a 91 Accord EX feels.

    Steel Braided Clutch Hose?

How about a steel braided clutch hose? Anyone try this? Stiffer effect? Less travel?

I have the steel braided line, but I nvr had the rubber line.
I can tell you it works the same every time, I know where the clutch is going to be regardless.
My Clutch engages right off the floor, it kinda sucks for racing, I grind gears sometimes if I dont have it buried in the floor
Im running an OEM Exedy clutch kit and I too think the pedal is pretty pussy

But you must remember its not the clutch that gives pedal resistance, its the pressure plate...OEM ones are very weak. They are for DD
Now mix an OEM clutch with a better Pressure Plate, then youll get the pedal feel you want, with the longevity you want.

x2...i have the same feel in my stock clutch pedal...you need a stronger pressure plate...you can try bleeding the clutch line just in case you have some air in the system...but I don't think that will be your problem.
