Would it be a good idea to replace my o2 sensor if i'm unsure of the age of it? Is it a "service interval" type replacement thing, or just when it breaks? Or is it cleanable or something? It came in the car, i was just wondering if it'd improve economy/performance to get a new one.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144

It's a wear item, so replacing it is never a bad idea. Be sure to get one from NGK/NTK or Denso. Do not get a Bosch sensor. They don't work properly in our cars (a handful of people have had success... but most don't work at all, or fail in 3 months.)
If your CEL isn't on, and the car isn't acting funny... then it may not be necessary. However, it's not a bad idea to do it as preventative maintenance.

I'll buy another one, since in certain weather/randomly it seems like it doesnt run as well as it could, but other times it runs great. I have a few other things to go over to make sure it's up to par, but otherwise it was one thing on my list i wanted to cover. Also judging from the state of the car when i got it (except for the excellent compression) everything was kinda shitty.Cars:
91 Accord LX Sedan (sold)
98 Accord LX Sedan
95 Eagle Talon TSI AWD (E3 16G, PTE 780cc, Godspeed FMIC)

Besides whats listed... I have a Bosch sensor, and I notice the check engine light goes off every once an a while. Usually if the weather is hot or cold i notice. Never stays on if I turn it off and restart it, but stays on the computer if I test the code jumper. Think this sounds like a Bosch issue, or something different?

Bosch are crap like said above , and speaking from experience.
OP , o2 sensors are not cleanable. They are highly sensitive sensors.
