Help PLEASE!!! Windows Wonnt Go Down

Now, let me start off by saying. This is about my Volvo 940 wagon. If it's not cool to post this here, just tell me n ill delete cuz im not gettin any answers on the volvo forums. Anyways, i have a 1995 volvo 940 wagon while the CB's in the body shop. I hooked up my sub, sony xplod 1200 watt witta 300 watt amp, and now my windows wont roll down, my power locks dont work, and my power mirrors wont work. Any ideas why??

I'm guessing it has something to do with the sub and amp drawing too much power from the battery, you need to buy something I believe. I think it's a bigger fuse, not sure though.

it could be that you didnt ground your amp correct..
Check your battery at autozone or kragen and alternator too (its free)..
if theyre good, then make sure everything else is good (ie fuses and grounds)
take the amp out and check if it fixes the problem
then if thats not it im all out of ideas...

Get a test light and check for power coming out the main switch.

^^ i'd check them fuses first. You could have grounded something out in the process of installing your stuff.

the fuses are good. i disconnected amp and no luck. battery and alternator r brand new. could it be the relay? although, why would the locks and mirrors stop working if its just the window relay?

are you sure you checked all of your fuses? the problems you have are in series with something that could be a fuse. since it's more then one problem.

it could be the ignition switch going bad also.

yep, every fuse that has something to do with the wondows and locks r good.
