ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

not yet im trying to stop the jumping rpm's and i don't think that has anything to do ... i think

-i clean up the air control valve * that the one in front with a connector right?

-block off the other one next to it small valve don't know the name
-block off the one underneath the TB

im having idle issues also since i did my h23 plenum swap.

i tightened the fitv still bounced, icav still jumped, and the thingy on the far right of the plenum, i left uncapped, if i cap it the idle will surge, and i replaced it already with a f22a 1.

now if im at high rpms, and put in N, the rpms drop wayyy low to 200 300 rpm and the car cuts off.

rpm surge sounds like a vac leak.....I assume you used a new gasket? If so, did you clean the mounting surfaces very well and was sure to scrape off all the old gasket? Did you use a new gasket between the throttle body and plenum? Cap off all your extra vacuum ports if any?

all gaskets are new from head side to upper plenum and TB still the same... could be i block off the valve underneath the TB? what can do with the rich problem

no CELs? BTW keep the original ecu in the car. Dont run the p06 unless its chipped and you have the f22 basemap on it or something. Fuel curvers are different and blah blah blah. Simply put, use your original ecu. Your car probably hesitates because your car is running so rich. Make sure your FPR vac is connected. Any other mods done to your car?

Did you swap the entire intake manifold (runners, plenum, etc.) or was it just the plenum?

And bmxfelon420 mentioned something that should have been done when you did the swap. Make sure you set your TPS. That was the very first thing I did when I did the swap and it fixed some of the idle issues.

Also don't forget your idle screw, I had to adjust that on mine to get my car to idle right after I swaped on my H23 intake manifold.

FPR = fuel pressure regulator... I can't think of any other acronym for FPR. And yes it has a vac line attached to it.

not on the plenum.....on the fuel rail. Your fpr runs off vacuum. If there is no vacuum then it sits at 43 psi when your idle fuel is suppose to be much lower. (not sure of exact at idle) Hence, runnin rich.
