ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Which wire feeds power to the cruise control actuator

Alright I'm posting this in this section too because its hardly getting any views in the cd5 section and I'm in a bit of a hurry to figure this out.

On my 95 accord I'm trying to figure out which settings cause the cruise control actuator to receive power. I'm trying to use the connector to the cruise control actuator to provide power to something else under the hood that preferable will switch off if I go below 25 mph or hit the brakes. My thinking is the cruise control is already set up for that. Now I'm not sure if the cb7's system is the same but the actuators look similar so maybe you cb7 guys can still help me out.

For testing the actuator it says to connect battery power to the white wire on the actuator harness and ground the others. So is the white wire the only one that gets voltage and the other three just have the connection to ground switch on or off?

I'm really just interested in which wire will have power when either just the cruise switch is on or when the cruise speed is set. Any help is much appreciated.

Well I'm looking for the voltage at the connector for the actuator, which of the 4 wires has it, and what switch needs to be on.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could check the voltage at the connector in the engine bay while driving the car fast enough to set a cruise speed? I measured the voltage with just the main switch on and I got essentially zero.

Well I ran a wire to the interior of my car from the connector that goes to the actuator. The wire was connected to what would be the white wire on the cruise control actuator. I measured the voltage to ground after I pressed the set switch while driving and got between 13 and 14 Volts. So now I found out what I was looking for.
