ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Exhaust recommendations

So I have been looking around and I found some good reviews from these three exhaust companys Tsudo, OBX and Megan and they are pretty cheap so my question is has anybody tried any of these I want to know how they sound and if the quality is good. I know you get what you pay for but I dont want to spend $600.00 on a Apexi or Greedy. Any suggestion on wich of these I should go with? Thanks

FWIW, anyone Ive ever know to own those exhausts said they work, but theyre redonkulously loud, and tend to rust eventually.

But being as you live in AZ, that shouldnt be that big of a deal for you....save for the noise part.

      hope that helps

          1) Put on header
          2) Drive to muffler shop
          3) Say "Weld an exhaust for me"
          4)Profit.

this is what i did, i bought the ebay headers of off my friend. went to the muffler shop and got custom 2.75'' piping for like $100 and i got a cheap muffler which now i regret so yesterday i bought an OBX muffler on ebay and ive heard them n they sound nice if theyr too loud for u just slap the silencer on.
so all together it went like this

            headers: $100
            custom piping: $100
            muffler:$50
            so $250
for full exhaust its pretty good
they say that greedy gives u more horsepower but my friend has a d16 with the same setup as me except he has a greedy cat back, and i still took him so ur better off doing what i did

a dc header is gonna be your cheapest option. A little bit of gains but not huge. Megan and other smaller brands wont either. If you want actual gains you'd be lookin at 600+ just for a header. Now if your just wanting a nice tone without worries of much of a gain, just get a very nice muffler welded onto your current piping or have a custom cat back made.

as stated before, those have been known to be louder then a lot out there. My Tanabe Hyper Medallion muffler was $240 alone and i COULD NOT be happier. Its sounds so sweet and smooth. I can get you a sound clip if you wanna hear it lol

I use to have a Tanabe on my eclipse but in was loud but it's probably because I had a high porformance cat. If you could send me a clip of what it sounds like that would be cool and where did you get yours I haven't seen any maybe I should check eBay
