ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Stray Vaccuum Line

Hey, on the little black box above the fuel filter there are vaccuum lines coming out of it. The 2 lines on the bottom are labeled 3 and 16. Where does 3 go? It's just hanging loose and I can't find where it's supposed to be. there is a broken plastic piece on the loose end.
    thanks

Broken plastic piece is probably the nipple of where that vacuum line should go. Considering the only plastic nipple in that area goes to the fuel charcoal canister below the emissions black box. You're going to have to get another canister then...

You could always just remove the canister all together and not have to worry with it.

Yup, it's off the canister, I don't know how i missed that I was just looking around the intake i guess. Would this cause any issues like lower gas mileage or what cause I have no idea how long its been like this lol

There is absolutly no point in removing the canister. It dosent affect preformance at all. All it does is take gas fumes and put them back into the gas tank vs putting them into the atmosphere. You arent driving a high preformance vehicle where every bit of weight counts so just leave it in. If you want a lighter vehicle then lose some pounds yourself.

I meant is anything affected by that line not being hooked up to the canister. Should I plug it up? I'm not removing anything if I don't have to, so calm down Tippey, no need to call me fat lol

I removed mine but it was in no way performance related. I simply did it to get rid of shit under the hood that's not needed for a cleaner look. It doesn't do shit t begin with and your exhaust is polluting the air enough as it is that it's really of no concern.
