ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

ok i just installed the h22 upper plenum wit a blacktrax spacer right.. i also put in a aem fuel rail and am gonna use the h22 injectors.. now, can i use a
p14 or will i have to tune my ecu?

you'll have to tune it if you switch injectors.... just cause you installed the plenum doesnt mean you have to change everything. You can run the stock ecu if you just stick to your f22 injectors. You will however benefit from a tune to get the max power out of your upgrades but you will still gain power without a tune since you are lettin the car breathe more. Not a HUGE noticeable difference in power between with or without a tune with minor upgrades.

so put back my f22 injectors right.. i figured wit the bigger throttle body and fuel rail i would need the p14 to send more fuel

yes put the f22's back. Honestly, the fuel rail was a waste of money. The OEM fuel rail is good up to like 500whp. You dont need that much more fuel. You probably gained a couple whp and most stock tunes could use a little lean out anyways lol.

There is NO reason to use H22 injectors. More fuel does not equal more power. In fact, it will cause you to lose power. Use the F22 injectors until you have some serious modifications done (such as extensive internal work, or forced induction).

That AEM fuel rail is also useless. It does nothing but look pretty for any engine that isn't highly modified. Most of the high horsepower turbo guys (I'm talking 450whp+) still use the stock rail.

well i bought the whole intake manifold like that and it was cheap too, so for the rice i had to take it. so what youthink then if i keep it double stacked and the h22 throttle and upper plenum. but i'll keep the rest cause im going turbo..

our answers still do not change......the h22 injectors are not gonna be anywhere near enough for when you go turbo. You need to run atleast 450cc injectors and depending whether its from a h22a/a1 or a h22a4, you either have 345cc injectors or 290cc injectors (h22a/a1 being the 345cc). Either way not enough to run boost on. For the fuel rail, you can always sell it for some extra cash if you got it for cheap. Maybe even make your money back on the whole manifold if your lucky.

I had an AEM fuel rail that was given to me for free. I traded for a CF hood that I actually used.
