ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I think the main problem is you are drawing too much current by trying to power the fogs with the corner lights and blowing fuses. Rewire it using a relay or a fused switch and a different 12V power source.

To fix the main problem, disconnect the fogs for now, and replace the fuse (I think parking lights/brake light fuse is under the dash).

By the way, aren't you the person that mentioned there's a junkyard in the Lower Mainland with 10 CBs with oem fogs for $20 a set?? I live in Langley so I'm curious as to where this junkyard is as I go to a lot of different ones and never came across one with that many.

agreed with the above guys comment regarding the cb fogs in the junkyard!
Common mercyboy! never replied my pm bout the fogs!
Ne ways good luck with finding the problem, i say just run a separate wiring harness (make your own) with a fuse and connect straight to the battery.

not to insult your intelligence but did you use the right bulbs for the fogs?

same symptoms occured with my friend and it turned out he used 2 pin bulbs instead of 3 and caused a heap load of problems.

LOL. Are you on Vancouver Accords? There seems to be a lot of people from Vancouver on here but not on the local site (maybe it's too slow...).

Anyways, I asked about this said junkyard because quite frankly, I don't think it exists.

Is this wrecker in Chiliwack Pickapart? I'm a regular there to the point they know me by name. But then again, they have no inventory counts as it is a u-pull and I doubt they would suggest cd fogs so maybe you're talking about a different one......

Too bad about the accident. Hope it doesn't hurt the wallet too much. Which side do you need? I have a couple axles and misc suspension parts like lower arms and knuckles lying around in my garage.
