ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    problems after skunk2 minifold

so i got my new skunk2 intake manifold on the other day and now im thinking it wasnt worth the head ache

    some of the problems

really low idle and when it dips to 500 at a stop the oil light comes on and doesnt flash but flickers as the car wants to die
for this im going to adjust the idle screw see it that helps
but i was wondering it just having the egr sensor (i think thats what it is) gone and having that cel would make it idle low

the other problem is that all of a sudden while driving it the whole car starts to jolt back and forth like im stomping repeatedly on the gas peddel
for that i have no idea whats going on there its so annoying
the motor acts like it is either going or stopping there is no inbetween

How do you have your vacuum lines? Have you adjusted your TPS?

Did you make a spot for the IACV? The jumpyness sounds like you don't have it connected.

Keep the car in neutral and rev it to like 2k. If the rpms keep dropping and raising rapidly, that's your problem.

Edit: Your check engine light 10 and 14 are for IAT (intake air temperature) sensor and IACV (idle air control valve). You need to drill into your intake and add these or it won't run right. Or you could probably get an ecu tuned to eliminate them...

What skunk2 intake manifold? I didn't know there was such a thing for our cars. 10 could just be that you didn't plug the IAT sensor back in, I did that like an idiot when I changed manifolds.

i have an h22 if that really makes a difference

the manifold is brand new i dont really want to drill in to it..

Yeah its understandable... realistically though, you are probably going to have get an ecu tuned to eliminate the iacv.

Try this temporarily, just plug the iacv in to the harness without attaching it to anything else. See if that helps. If it does you know that it is what is causing your problem.

would deleting that do away with the problem?
