ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    focus headlights

I own a 92 EX coup. I love it. I have bad night vision so I invested in some HID headlamps that have made all the difference in the world. I ordered 8K but I think they sent me 6K lamps. They look bright white, I can't see any blue at all but that's fine. I don't want to attract any unwanted attention from the boys in blue. I have blue LED running lights anyway, which are illegal in Washington. I have done a lot of detail work on my car to give it an updated look. I painted all the black trim (door guards, ect.) and the trim running along the bottom of my car the same color as the car, which has really helped in getting rid of that early 90's look, and I have installed clear bumper turn signals and clear corner lights.
I want to install focus headlights but I haven't read anything good about after market focus headlights. I always hear that they emit less light than the stock headlights. I have found articles about how to make your own retrofit focus headlights, but that feels a little out of my area. I don't want to buy focus headlights from a different car and try to swap out the guts and install them in my headlight housings. Is there a brand of after market focus headlights someone could suggest? I don't mind spending $200-$300 as long as they work well.

By focus do you mean porjector? If so I can tell you from experiance that they emit less light they usually run on a h1 bulb which is common for most fog lamps. I have the 4k yellow h.i.ds and i love them but if your looking for super bright get a 100w wiring harness and run 90/100w in your stock houseing.

for ease of retrofits this is what you want

There is a guy on hidplanet that modifies the shield for even better results.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

      Retro!

I love nooBs...They make me look good
