ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    automatic h22 from prelude

I have a opportunity to buy a 2001 honda prelude automatic h22 engine and tranny only . I want to put it in my 1992 honda accord sedan. It is already an automatic. What will i have to get. I know i need ecu, mounts( will prelude mounts work?) engine wire harness (which one) and will my stock axles work?. Is there anything else i'm missing? aren't the preludes equipped with an immobilizer how do i bypass that?

Prelude owner to the rescue! Basic things you will need are; engine, tranny, ecu, and wire harness. The mounts for the H22 should be the same as the F22, mainly because the 92-96 preludes had both engines in their cars. Now, the H22 in the base model 97-01 is NOT the same as the H22 in the SH model. Mounts may be the same, but the ECU and possibly the harness are not interchangeable, so make sure you know which H22 you are getting first because if its the SH model, good luck trying to install that into your CB7.

Now, if its the regular H22 from he base model, I'm pretty sure the alternator should swap over fine. I think the power steering pump mounts differently on the F22 than it does on the H22. I don't think the axles will fit, so you might either have to find an entire H22 prelude suspension setup, or just swap over your current tranny onto the H22, bolts right up.

You also have to find a way to wire up everything onto your F22 fusebox, or get yourself an H22 one.

          Hope this helps.
