ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Exhaust need info/advice

Alright, so i've been lookin' on internet for a new cat-back exhaust system and found those 2 that... looks similar to me. I kinda like the style of it but im open to any suggestions. My budget would be around 350 as i will have to change my exhaust manifold as well.

So my first stop was on this Megan Racing(+/- $300)

My second the Option Racing(+/- $200)

Which one should i go for... I'm not really going to choose one for the price or for performance matters but mainly cuz my exhaust system as a hole and need remplacement asap. You might say just change the piece where the hole is... i would but the thing is, the previous owner had made it weld 1 piece long... so i have no choice.

    Thanks, Kevin.

They probably ARE the same thing. Megan Racing doesn't sell anything but knockoff parts. They're one of the better makers, but none of their products are engineered in-house. Both of those systems are relatively low quality... but better than most total no-name ones you'll find elsewhere.

Personally, I'd pay the extra for the Apexi WS2, Greddy SP, or RSR ExMag.

so range of price we are talkin about the ws2? remember i need my exhaust manifold change aswell so what would be a good combination? other then the DC headers that cost almost as much as the exhaust system itself.

A cheap header will do about as good as anything else. The only header worth paying money for is the Bisimoto header.

As for the price difference... look it up yourself. You're a big boy. You don't need us to do all your Googling for you. That is, afterall, how everyone else will find the information you're asking for.

              Budget of $350?

              f22a4 manifold
              Megan Racing M-OE muffler
2.5" Flotech glasspack (or some other type of resonator)
Take it all to an exhaust shop and have them weld up some 2.5" mandrel bent piping.
