ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Racing Hart C2

Sorry, I know it might be a bad location here , but I didn't get any answers y the wheel forum, but if it's trouble well get it erase I'll post it in the wheel forum again, I just hope to get some answers here. Thanks!!

Well I got a set of these wheels with 205/40/17 Falken Ziex.

    My questions are:

    1. Do I need extra hardware for instalation? like centric hubs or something?

The Do have a wierd sound when going slow, in the front, but I checked and double checked an only saw some rubbing on the rear springs, really minor.

    2. Are there any safety lug nuts that short? Down here the'll inmediately disappear if left with stock ones !

    3. Does anybody know where to get the adjusment tool?, I don't want to get my center caps stolen.

Thanks in advance, if anyone wants to know, they handle really well, grip is fantastic and of course I think they look sexy as hell!!!

    1) Yes, you need hub centric rings. The noise could be the tires on the springs (which means your offset is incorrect...), could be a wheel bearing, or could be tire scrub due to poor alignment.

    2) I don't know of any short tuner nuts or wheel locks. If you want to keep them secure, you may need to run without the caps. Are they real Racing Hart, or are they RH Evolution (the R/H logo)?

    3) What adjustment tool do you mean?

      Thanks for your answers Deeve.

      1. I think I'll have to change my suspension setup and get a good aligment.

      2. Yes they are the RH C2, it's a shame there are no wheel locks that short.

      3. I mean the fasten tool for the center caps, doing it by hand is a PITA!

Ah, ok. I've never had wheels like that, so I've never encountered a centercap that needed a tool!

At least the wheels are R/H, and not the real deal... Still good wheels, and they look the same (made from the actual licensed plans of the real Racing Hart wheels) but not as valuable... which also means not as desirable to steal. Of course, many people think R/H and Racing Hart are the same, so all you need is one ignorant thief thinking it's worth the risk to get them off of your car!

          LOL

Tha'ts absolutely true, but I didn't write it down correctly, they are the Racing Hart C2, bought them in 1000 bucks and got them shipped to my country for another 500 bucks, so yes I'm afraid they might get stolen.

Sorry to bother you again, but, the centric hubs I need are for all 4 tires, I mena, the rubbing is on the back, plus there are different sizes, would the 15 mm work ok?

They were supposed to be a direct fit?, i think the problem is my aligment or my bearing as you stated before.

You need rings made that match your hub size, and the bore on the wheels. I don't know the specifics exactly to be able to tell you either, unfortunately. The hub size should be easy enough to find. The wheel bore can be gotten from Racing Hart, most likely. OR you could just measure, and hope you did so accurately. There are companies that will make custom hub rings.

Running without them puts your wheel studs under significant strain, and can eventually snap them. I've seen a Lexus with all 4 sheared off. He crashed, of course... losing a wheel will do that.

As for the nuts... these are the shortest I could find... still not sure if they'd fit, though.

If your wheels are the real deal, then yeah, you'll want to protect them! $1000 isn't a bad deal if they're in good shape! C2s are some of my favorites.

Wow!! I don't want that to happen, so I'd better start looking for those hubs, on ebay I found some that say are made for Cbs, but I have to learn more about this and get the correct ones.
Yes C2s were a nice deal as they came with falken tires, I DID payed 200 more for shipping to Miami, but now that I have'em I don't care lol.

Thanks Deeve, really helpful I'mma begin doing my homework reseach about the hubs!!!!

Remember that you have to match the rings to your car's hubs AND the wheel bore... so rings that just say they're made for the CB won't necessarily work. They'll fit on the hub, but may not fit snugly in the wheel bore.

Taken from a post on acura-cl.com:
For those who have RH C2 5X114.3 rims and want to get hub rings, the outer bore size is 73MM (and of course, the Acura CL's bore is 64.10MM).

Below is the address and telephone number to Dazz sports who makes RH rims (apparently they also support Racing Hart, Lowhart, etc. etc.):

                1350 Moutain View Circle
                Azusa, CA 91702
                (626)962-0033

I think this should be helpful to someone.
I can't find info on the CB7's hub size, but I feel it MIGHT be the same as the CL. It's something to confirm, though.

and 1010tires has the rings: http://www.1010tires.com/hubrings.asp

Just to update if anyone comes up with this issue again, The Racing Hart C2 outer bore is 73 mm the inner is 64 mm as our Accords, but these rims DO NOT fit properly without hub centric rings.
So if you want to install a set of these you need 73 mm to 64 mm hub centric rings, you can find in many wheel shops.
                    Thanks!!
