if it only boggs between 1800-3000 rpms i would clean your egr ports. my car ran much better at low rpms after doing that. and the new egr plugs were like $.86 each. but i changed the injector o-rings so i ended up putting a lot more money into it.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Car bogging?

this is terrible advice. taking out your o2 sensor WILL make your car run like shit. it is there for a reason. o2 sensor is pretty expensive too. so if it is still good you should not waste the money on a new one.Originally posted by afief View Postalso check your exhaust. take out your o2 sensor and see if your car runs better. if it does then its most likely a clogged exhaust. I had the same problem on mines. i changed the fuel filter, dizzy, injectors, oil filter and had the same problem.
chances are if your o2 sensor is bad you will get a CEL.Last edited by AaronRVegas; 08-25-2010, 10:15 PM.Parts For Sale

Don't know if you resolved your issue or not.
But if not I would say this is your Cat.
My friend had this issue with his car. We couldn't get the O2 out so we were wondering what it would be like to run the car without one.
My five speed drives fine. So we unplugged my O2 to drive it around and see if it would give the same issues that he was having.
Boom nothing, Car drove fine with just throwing the O2 code.
The issue you're having is back pressure from a clogged Cat.

True on this one. Experience it first hand. As for the O2 sensor, I saw a Denso brand on Ebay for $50 new.Originally posted by batever View PostIf you're not getting an ECU code, then check your ignition timing and make sure it is within =/- 2 deg of 15 degrees before TDC. If it's way off in the retarded direction (less than 15 deg before TDC) then that will affect power in a major way and create a bogging effect.
