ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

That's messed up. The sensor for code 9 is inside the distributer, and if you're replace it (with new?) then it would be hard to say. Did you reset the ECU?

If this is an aftermarket dizzy, there could be an issue with the sensor. I've heard that aftermarkets have problems in this area. Are you sure it's not a TCU code?

Since your oil light is blinking, I wonder if your ECU is flaking out. But I'm not sure what the oil sensor circuit is (if it goes directly to dummy light or to ECU), so it's hard to say.

What year is your car? Auto or stick tranny?

        ***EDIT***

Also, did you set the timing properly?

I have a 93 accord, auto, timing was set to TDC on cylinder 1 and theres was only one way that the dizzy would work so I guess its on right..also the oil light stopped blinking now i only have code 9...the only thing that I dont know is are my cables on right..how do you set that up??

when I put my cables onto the new dizzy cap I put them on the same way they were on my old cap..I turned the dizzy and the rotor part that has the metal end was pointing towards cilinder 4 i think..it would either be on cylinder 4 or 1..i tried putting it to 1 and it cranked but didnt start...flipped it around and starts but feels weird..

its a used OEM dizzy that was in a running car...

on a side note things that ive changed so far in the last 2 days: battery(new), starter(new), NGK plugs(new),and the used OEM dizzy..

By cables do you mean spark plug wires? I snapped a pic from my 92, but I think we should both have external coils. Sorry so dirty, I just got the car and haven't cleaned it up yet.
