Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    driving without flex pipe

    What happens if u drive ur car just with header and half a down pipe?? Im missing the flex pipe and i been driving the car like that for a while

    nothing really, the flex pipe is so the exhaust can flex when you shift instead of cracking or braking the exhaust.

      Really loud exhaust, fumes inside the car giving you a headache. I don't think it could cause engine damage, unless the exhaust leak catches something on fire. Which I have seen before.

        Is your exhaust dumping out at the downpipe?

        Aside from being obnoxiously loud... it's also dumping exhaust right under you. If you drive with the windows up and allow the carbon monoxide to fill the cabin, it could kill you.
        It happens slowly, so it's really scary. You don't realize it. My friend had an old Blazer, and his exhaust broke in the middle. He just drove it like that. No big deal. One day, my girl and I were in the back seat, and another female friend of ours was in the front seat. The driver had the window open. He was fine. The girls passed out. I nearly passed out before I realized what was happening. You just fall asleep... NOT something you want happening when you're driving!

          i agree with deev, carbonmonoxide poisoning is very dangerous ,you need to have it fixed right away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

              x3 if anyone dont mind... my car has a bad flex pipe, so when i would slow down at a stop sign or a exit of the interstate, my car reeks of carbon monoxide, i have to get fresh air every time. its only like 40 bucks for a flex plus a shop to weld it on.

                It reeks of exhaust fumes. Carbon monoxide has no smell, which is even worse. You might not smell it, but it's there.
