ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Bogging, scary noises.

The haunting bogging and popping noises are back.

The car has ran fine until now, my car is OEM everything, stock.

    Symptons are.

Bogging, When I gas out of a stop sign or stop light, it will pick up till about 1.5-2k, then bogg, slowly make a deep murmur sound. As if it cant breathe, but when I punch it, it goes like nobody's buisness. I've replaced the o2 sensor and checked my spark plugs already, maybe a clogged cat? And would that cause the popping noise? Sounds as if it were backfiring, but the noise comes from the engine bay when ur in the drivers seat u can hear it from up front, not from behind.

now you said everything is original stock right, i bet its your cat. Mine was doing the same thing, and when i was upgrading exhaust the welder noticed the cat was clogged. He said it causes you to loose power/popping noise and he was right, when i let off the gas the header sounded like it was popping...even at low speeds. He changed the cat and now its running right, gave me more power at taking off....now my car kinda backfires but it comes from the muffler, not from the engine bay....

I get this every time i get my distributor wet, due to the change of seasons you might be getting moisture collecting in your cap.
            wat?

I was thinking the same, since the cat itself is 20 years old.

If I were to replace a fuel pump, wouldnt it be better just to get a new engine? Or did I mis-read something? I thought the filter was easy to replace, but the pump was not. The sensor i've already replaced.
