So ive found the cam im getting. But ive only found one cam gear out there and it is a AEM and 100bux im not really wanting to spend 100bux on one cam gear id rather find a cheaper solution. Is there any other cam gears out there that will work for a f22b1?Such as any other f series and h series cam gears?got a bud with a set of megan cam gears for a h22a1 and he will cut me a deal on them if one would work that would be awsome.Either way im not about to spend that much on a cam gear so please give me serious helpful anwsers/solutions if anything besides b1 cam gear will work.Or other companys that supply a cheaper route.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

From what ive read all the f series cam gears are the same?is this correct
Bisi shows that the f22ax f22bx and f23x are using the same cam gear so i guess any f series will work.

I would not suggest buying a cheap cam gear. ESPECIALLY if you plan on putting money into your head. If that slips, your timing will be off. If it slips enough, your valves and pistons are going to have one hell of a make out party. This will essentially destroy the pistons and the head... perhaps even more, depending on the RPM and the severity of the slippage.
Truthfully, you don't NEED an adjustable cam gear. It adds a bit more tuning ability, but it's nothing earth shattering. If you're on a budget, I would stick to the stock gear for now, and upgrade to a good adjustable (Bisimoto would be my choice) when you can comfortably afford it, and you feel you've gotten all you can from the setup without it.

I wasnt plaining on gettting a el cheapo bud just seeing if i could use any other f series because im sure i can find a good quality one used for alot cheaper for other f series since not many companys make them for the b1 nor many ppl build them. But yea valves to piston contact isnt good and your info will be great if others come to have this same question all of this will be here to help!Alls ive got plained for my build at this time is a bisi stage 2 cam(NEW),cam gear(used),megan header/some sort of header(used),Still looking to see what springs to get aswell.Ive read some places that the stage 2 has been run on oem valve train with no issues but im still in the process of deciding which springs/if any to use. Thanks for the tips guys!

From my experience, and its odd enough actually, but I cannot stress the importance of going with good products! I have had to deal with two people who had issues because they did not go with a solid cam gear!
If you are going to go with an aggressive cam such as our Bisimoto Level 2 run a solid cam gear that will hold up to the RPM and with hold under load!
If any of you are interested in picking up a new cam gear or are in need of one, shoot me an email and I will take care of you guys!
