ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

There are no axles from any other cars that will work on a CB7. Use an axle made for your car.

          "din the advice"?

The 90-91 Prelude has completely different dimensions, and uses an engine and transmission that are completely different from the 90-93 Accord's. Axle length will not be correct, even if everything else is.
Even the axles from a 92-96 Prelude, or 94-97 Accord will not work... and both of those cars are MUCH more closely related to the 90-93 than the 3rd gen Prelude is.

Ah, ok. I see what you mean.

It MAY work, but I wouldn't bother. Assembling your own axles often results in an unreliable result anyway. Do you have access to any stores that sell remanufactured Accord axles? In the US, they are quite easy to find, and very affordable. I just checked your IP address and I see you're from Chile... so that may change things a bit.

In that case, the best thing to do is try working with what you have! I'm quite sure it will not work, though. It's not something anyone on here has ever tried, I'm sure. Most of the people here have access to cheap replacement parts, so there has never been a need to try mixing axles.

It makes sense now, I was just about to tell him that Autozone has them for 39.99 a piece.

Because he's in Chile, and it's a 400km trip to the nearest store that sells them. If you bothered reading the entire thread before you replied, you'd have known that.

Great. Now do you want to help the OP out by showing him the nearest O'Reilly Auto Parts in Chile?

Or did you just not bother reading the thread before you posted?
