Hello fello n00bs,
I'll make this an intro/technical thread so we can get right down to business. I realize there is not a B next to the C in the title, not a mistake, my accord is a 94.

So here is my predicament, I have a stock f22b1 with about 180k miles and I'm looking to put something a little more stout and fresh in the bay . I have a spare f22a(1?) out of a 4th gen prelude just sitting around. After disassembling and inspecting the block to ensure it's good to go, the way I see it I have 3 choices for my build: complete f22a, f22a block with f22b1 head, or run an H22 head for the g22.
The f22bx seems to be the red headed stepchild of the f series (as far as head flow) so I'm wondering am I really giving that much up by losing teh vtak and going with a full f22a? Are there advantages to the f22b1 block? More questions to come.
