ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    clutch pedal free play

when i got my accord the clutch pedal had a lot of free play. i thought it was the adjustment nut for the clutch pedal. it was all the way to the back so i fixed it, but it still had some free play.

when i press the cluth oedal it goes down but not all the way back up. i have to push i back up about an 1 1/2 in.

    i need help

funny.. i have this same problem..

i have yet to adjust the nut on the back of the arm to see if that fixes it.. but this only began to happen after the autozone master/slave.. went on about a year ago.. didnt happen immediately.. but few months went by and it started to happen.. im wondering if the tension spring is just giving way?..

yeah.. im in need of fixing this problem.. because i dont get locked out of the gear.. but its notchier than if i picked it up.. and pressed it all the way to the floor again.. granted my engagement is really low.. but still..

if i were to rev out first and try to hard shift into 2nd... id either grind or it wont go in.. i have a strong feeling its the master or slave... just been too lazy to replace either..

        thats my excuse..

Pressure plate in the clutch is acting as return spring when the pedal is let go. If there is no air in the hydraulic system, it is likely something funky is going on in clutch assembly.

I have the same issue, except my clutch engages waaay off the floor (brand new clutch, so that's not the issue). I've bled the lines with no results. If I get the engagement anywhere near the floor with the pedal adjustment, it sticks like you guys are mentioning. I'm wondering if the car has cheap aftermarket slave/master (I've not replaced them, but only had the car for 1.5 years). I did end up slotting the mounting holes on the slave and sliding it towards the trans, which helped a bit.

Yeah I bled the line and nothing, is there suppose to be a grommet where the slave cylinder meets the pedal?
