Not sure how this came about... it isnt all the time but often when i stop at red lights or stop signs as soon as my rpms comes down to idle the engine starts stuttering...(as if to shut off) it does not rev up and down like many other people have posted. this is a different idle problem. Dont know if it makes sense but i also notice that it gets worse when i press the brakes. for example: if i come to a stop by downshifting without using any brakes it will not stutter so muc if at all. But if i push in clutch and let rpms fall they wont stutter until i press the brake to make a complete stop. Its as if my engine losses either air or gas at idle and more when braking. It does not stutter continuously either. it will stutter for 5 to 10 seconds then level itself and idle fine. Any ideas or suggestions? I was thinkin maybe a bad injector or fuel filter...but this is my only symptom. Car runs great with no misfires of anykind only this little 5 to ten second stutter when i stop and even more so when i use brakes to stop. All i can tell you besides this is that i just recently did a full tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor oil, air filter, even spark plug tube seals) which is why i dont think it has anything to do with spark. Also when it stutters my lights dim (inside and out) and return to their brightness once the idle levels out...
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is a pretty anoying problem not to mention makes my car sound like an old clunker about to blow up.
